It was built in 1949 on the initiative of the German parachutists including, Heini Klopfer. Facility design point is 185 meters. On the hill are organized World Cup and World Cup ski flying. The last world championship in ski flying hill took place on 22-24 February 2008. And also earlier in 1973, 1981, 1988 and 1998.
